Christopher Ree has been a professional Tarot card reader since 1971. He started his career in San Francisco , California at the Magic Cellar, a magic nightclub below Earthquake McGoons's jazz club. It was here that he found himself reading for Walter Cronkite, Elizabeth Montgomery, and Andy Griffith, sometimes actually being closely watched by Woody Allen, who liked to play upstairs with the Turk Murphy Jazz Band. The Magic Cellar was where the Science Fiction Writers of America would hold their monthly meetings. Christopher often sat at the bar sharing Irish coffees with L. Ron Hubbard, the well-known science fiction writer and founder of Scientology. Christopher was consultant to many artists and musicians during this time including the collage artist, Satty, poster artist, David Singer, and band members of the Doobie Brothers, Jethro Tull, and Supertramp. It was not uncommon to see Christopher Ree hanging out with Michael Douglas while he was filming the “The Streets of San Francisco” TV show.
Christopher Ree also worked at the Metaphysical Center in San Francisco at 410 Sutter Street , reading cards and teaching classes in Tarot, Astrology, and the Qabalistic Tree of Life.
In the early 1980's he moved to Los Angeles where he read Tarot at the exclusive private night club, Magic Island, a club owned by Johnny Carson and Doc Severson. In this setting he was introduced to Dr. J. Allen Hyneck, the former director the US Air Force's Blue Book Project created by the American government to study UFO activity. Christopher Ree spent a great deal of time with Dr. Hyneck discussing the possibility that “we are not alone”. He has traveled extensively around the world doing readings and exploring the beauty of our wonderful planet.
Christopher Ree continues to read for many clients around the world via phone, the internet and in person. He has two bases of operation, residing in Cassadaga , Florida during the winter months, where he reads at the Purple Rose Metaphysical Shop and Brockville, Ontario , Canada during the summer months.
When Christopher Ree is not giving readings he enjoys writing articles for Global Psychic's website and composing and playing music on his keyboards.
An Interview With Christopher:
Hi, I live with my lifetime partner, Kate. We have been together over 15 yrs. I live in Cassadaga, Florida, halfway between Daytona Beach and Orlando. Cassadaga is a town populated by Spiritualists, mediums, and psychics.
I have no pets, as I travel too much. I have 2 grown children who live on their own. I have family in Massachusetts and Florida. My hobbies are music, photography, and geology. My special interests are anything mystical and metaphysical, especially the Mayan culture. One of my favorite movies is "Journey to the Center of the Earth" with James Mason and Pat Boone. I love to wear vests.
I love Nature and my play time is out amongst the flora and fauna of Florida.
My favorite form of travel is by cruise ship. I love to cruise the Caribbean.
I have been a professional psychic since 1971 and have read for countless people, some famous, some not so famous. I am a master of the Tarot and have made it my lifetime study. I follow the "Path of the Fool", which is an alchemical path of life directly connected to the Tarot. The Fool is the first card in the Tarot deck. It is the zero, the circle, the endless line with no beginning and no end.
My most dramatic reading was reading the Tarot for Walter Cronkite. He was an amazing man.
I find humor in many of my readings. I like to use humor to point out the mysteries of life. Life is too mysterious to take serious!
My psychic work brings me much joy and satisfaction. I love to help people see past their problems. My family and friends love what I do and are ever curious about the people I meet and read for. My pursuit of knowledge keeps me going. I am ever curious and never plan to stop learning.
